“Send 5 texts or emails of blessing.”

Let’s spread a little more love this week.  Why this week?  Why not?  We don’t know what is taking place in the lives of those around us.  Even some of our closest friends may be struggling with something that they haven’t revealed to us.  Everyone needs encouragement.  Everyone needs to know they are loved and valued.  This week may not be anything special to us, but we could help make the week surprisingly special for someone else by sharing some love!

Today’s Challenge is to send five emails or texts of blessing to someone.  You could choose to text your BFF.  You might choose to email someone that you barely know.  The person you choose is up to you, but before you start sending those texts and emails, consider contacting the people that God is laying on your heart.  Sometimes God urges us in a direction that doesn’t make much sense.  Unfortunately, when it doesn’t make sense (or if it stirs painful memories), we often ignore it and toss it aside.

Today is not the day to make an excuse and close our ears to God’s whisper.  Who needs encouragement?  Who needs a blessing?  Listen carefully, and when it doesn’t make sense, you might be right on target.
